About Alex:
Alex has been fully professional for over six years now, having experience playing solo piano on a cruise ship, residencies at pubs, restaurants and hotels, also countless weddings and private/corporate events.
He can currently be seen playing his weekly residency at the Belvedere Restaurant, Holland Park.
Venues played at include: Royal Albert Hall, Royal Opera House, Barbican Centre, Doha Middle East, Waldorf Hotel, Holland America Cruises, Brittany Ferries, Selfridges, Groucho Club, 20th C Theatre
...as well as Hootananny Brixton, Dublin Castle Camden, Swithins Restaurant Bank, Buffalo Bar Islington, Rhythm Factory Whitechapel, Morden Arms, Greenwich, The Trafalgar, Wimbledon.

Alex is mostly self-taught. He did not attend the music conservatoires that many of his peers went to, however great pianists have always been on hand to guide him through the process of becoming a professional musician, most notably Nick Ramm, Ivo Neame and Dave Frankel.
Alex does not sight-read but has an incredible ear. He can learn and write tunes with music scores.
Classical pianist Marion Blech taught Alex during his teenage years.
